Why does my foot bath make a humming noise but not do anything else?

A humming sound without normal operation usually means the appliance has power, but one of its functions is not starting properly. Stop using it immediately if the hum is loud, uneven, accompanied by burning smells or followed by heat where it should not be.

1. Switch the appliance off and on again

1. Turn the control to off.
2. Unplug the unit for a short time, then reconnect it and select the function again.

If it starts working normally, the control may simply have needed a reset.

2. Check for obstruction or poor water level

1. Empty and refill the bath to the instructed level.
2. Look for anything blocking moving parts or water movement.

Obstruction or an incorrect water level can cause a motor or heater to hum without performing properly.

3. Confirm the bath sits level

1. Place it on a flat, dry floor.
2. Make sure nothing presses on the sides or underside.

An uneven setup can make the appliance sound as though it is working harder than it should.

4. Stop if the hum sounds abnormal

• The noise becomes loud, harsh or rhythmic.
• The unit vibrates strongly or moves on the floor.
• The smell, heat or water behaviour seems unusual.

If the problem remains unresolved, stop using the foot bath and contact the retailer or store where it was purchased.
