If the massage or vibration feels weak, intermittent or does not start, the most common causes are an incorrect setting, too much water, or the appliance not being placed level on a stable surface. On supported models, massage and vibration are separate functions that may need to be selected individually.
Checks to try
- Make sure the appliance is plugged in securely and switched to the correct setting.
- Check whether the massage or vibration function is selected, rather than heating only.
- Reduce the water level slightly if it is above the recommended fill line.
- Place the foot bath on a flat floor or other stable surface, then test again without moving it.
If the function starts only when you press on one side of the bath or move the unit, the bath may not be sitting evenly. That can affect comfort and performance.
When to stop
Stop using the foot bath if you hear grinding, rattling or crackling noises, or if the housing feels loose, hot or damaged. These can be signs that the appliance should not be used with water until it has been checked.
If it still does not work
- Turn the appliance off and unplug it.
- Let it dry fully if any water has splashed onto the selector switch.
- If the massage or vibration still fails, contact the retailer or store where you bought it.
