If your cake pops are reluctant to release, the issue is usually batter texture, filling level or cleaning of the moulds rather than a fault with the appliance. A clean, properly heated non-stick surface should allow the cakes to come away more cleanly once they are fully cooked.
- Check that each mould is filled evenly and not overfilled.
Expected result: the batter should bake neatly without spreading over the edges. - Wait until the cakes are fully cooked before trying to remove them.
Expected result: a finished cake pop should separate more easily than one that is still soft in the middle. - After cooling, wipe the moulds clean so old batter does not build up around the edges.
Expected result: the surface should remain smooth and easy to release from. - Avoid metal picks, knives or forks on the baking surface.
Expected result: the coating should stay intact and not become scratched. - If the release problem started suddenly, inspect the surface for wear, peeling or residue that may be affecting performance.
Expected result: the moulds should look even and undamaged.
Stop using the product immediately if the coating is flaking or if the moulds are visibly damaged. Do not force food out with sharp tools. If release remains difficult after careful cleaning and correct use, contact the retailer or store where the product was purchased.
