Why does my trimmer head come loose during use?

If the head or attachment works loose, the cutting parts may not have been fitted correctly or a locking feature may not have engaged. Stop using the trimmer if the head will not stay in place, because loose parts can cause injury or poor cutting.

Refit the attachment carefully

1. Switch the appliance off first.
2. Remove the attachment and refit it according to the supplied instructions for your model.
