Why is my parasol wobbling or leaning after setup?

1. Confirm the stand or base is on a flat, hard surface. Soft ground, a slope or uneven paving can make the pole lean. Expected result: the parasol stands upright without rocking.
2. Make sure the pole is inserted fully and any securing screw or clamp is tightened as far as the instructions allow. Expected result: the pole no longer moves in the fitting.
3. If you are using base weights, check that they are positioned evenly and filled or placed as instructed. For example, loose or uneven weights can make the parasol sit off-centre. Expected result: the base feels balanced from all sides.
4. Close the parasol if the weather is breezy. Even a correctly set parasol can become unstable in gusts. Expected result: the movement stops once the canopy is closed.
