If coffee or water overflows, the filter area may be overloaded, the jug may be out of position, or the appliance may need cleaning. Switch off the appliance before checking anything near hot water.
- Check the fill levels. Do not exceed the water tank mark and do not overfill the filter with coffee.
- Check the filter and holder. Make sure the filter is fitted properly and is not folded, torn, or blocked.
- Check the jug placement. Confirm the jug is fully under the outlet and correctly seated on the hotplate, if fitted.
- Clean the brew path. Rinse removable parts and clear any old coffee residue after the appliance has cooled.
Expected result: Water should flow through the filter without spilling over.
When to stop: Stop if water escapes from the base, power area, or any part of the body that should stay dry.
When to contact support: Contact support if overflow continues after you have reduced the coffee amount and checked the filter fit.
