If the coffee is not hot enough, the machine may need preheating, the jug may be cold, or the keep warm function may not have had enough time to work. Use caution, as the appliance and coffee can be hot.
- Preheat the appliance. Run a brewing cycle with water only, if your model and manual support this.
- Warm the jug or cup. Use a hot water rinse before brewing to reduce heat loss.
- Check the lid and jug placement. Make sure the jug is seated correctly and the lid is fitted as intended.
- Check the keep warm stage. Leave the coffee on the hotplate only for the time needed and do not expect it to stay hot indefinitely.
Expected result: The coffee should come out hotter and stay warm for a short period.
When to stop: Stop if the hotplate or jug shows damage, or if the appliance switches off unexpectedly.
When to contact support: Contact support if the coffee remains lukewarm after preheating and correct jug placement.
