Why do the forks or ring not sit properly in the fondue set?

Modified on Thu, 20 Aug at 3:24 PM

Check that the forks, fork holder ring, and any sauce ring or removable accessories are assembled in the correct position and that nothing is bent or out of shape. If a part does not sit securely, stop using the appliance until you have checked it for damage.

What to check

  1. Match the parts carefully. Make sure the fondue ring is seated correctly on the pan or housing.
  2. Check the forks. Confirm that all forks are the correct items supplied with the set and that none are bent.
  3. Look for obstruction. Remove food residue, packaging, or debris from the rim and fork positions.
  4. Inspect for wear. If the ring or holder feels loose, check for visible deformation or cracks before reuse.

Expected result: The ring should sit flat and the forks should rest securely without slipping.

When to stop: Stop using the fondue set if the ring will not stay in place, if a fork is damaged, or if the pan appears unstable.

When to contact support: Contact support if a supplied part is missing, bent, or no longer fits as expected, or if you are unsure whether the set-up is correct. Do not force parts into position.
