If the fondue cools too quickly, the thermostat may be set too low, the pot may be overfilled or the appliance may need a little longer to recover temperature after adding ingredients.
- Check that the appliance is on a stable, level surface away from drafts.
- Make sure the pot is filled within the maximum content indicator, if fitted.
- Turn the thermostat up a little and allow time for the temperature to rise.
- Stir gently so heat is distributed evenly, then test again after a few minutes.
- If the appliance still cannot maintain heat, unplug it and stop using it.
Expected result: the fondue should stay warm enough for dipping without large temperature drops.
When to stop: stop if the unit overheats, smells unusual or the cord or plug becomes hot.
When to contact support: contact support if temperature control seems unstable or the appliance never reaches a usable heat level.
