Why does my hand blender leave water or food inside the stick after cleaning?

If moisture or food residue seems trapped in the stick after cleaning, the most likely issue is incomplete drying or residue around the joint. Because the appliance has electrical parts, it must never be used again while wet or with liquid where it should not be.

1. Unplug the appliance and separate any detachable parts according to the model design.
2. Wash only the parts intended for cleaning, then dry them carefully with a soft cloth. Do not immerse the motor unit in water.
3. Check the joint, shaft and blade area for trapped liquid or food paste. Turn the part upside down and let any remaining moisture drain naturally.
4. Reassemble the appliance only when all parts are fully dry and seated correctly.
5. If residue keeps appearing, inspect the fitting points for cracks or a poor seal before trying again.

The expected result is a dry accessory that refits cleanly and does not leave droplets behind. Stop using the hand blender if water appears near the motor unit, if drying does not solve the problem, or if any part looks damaged. Never use heat, a knife or other tools to dry inside the shaft. If the issue remains unresolved or safe use is uncertain, contact the retailer or store where the product was purchased.
