If the appliance feels loose in your hand or unstable while styling, check the attachment fit, cord movement and your grip first. A shaky feel can come from an accessory that is not seated properly or from the cord pulling against your movement. Stop using it if it feels unsafe, overheats or makes unusual noises.
Check the attachment
- Switch off and unplug the appliance.
- Remove and refit the attachment so it sits straight and secure.
- If the loose feeling disappears after refitting, the issue was likely the attachment connection.
Check the cord and your setup
- Lay the cord so it can move freely and is not tugging on the handle.
- Stand in a position where the appliance can move naturally through the hair without stretching the cable.
- If the cord twists tightly or pulls the handle out of alignment, straighten it before continuing.
Check the accessory condition
- Inspect the brush, curler or nozzle for cracks, bent parts or looseness.
- Try another supplied accessory if available.
- If only one part feels unstable, do not keep using that accessory.
Stop using the appliance if
- The fitting point is damaged or cracked
- The appliance shakes strongly or vibrates more than expected
- The cord, plug or casing feels hot
If the problem remains unresolved, contact the retailer or store where it was purchased.
