Why is my pet feeder camera not showing a live view?

Modified on Tue, 25 Aug at 8:12 AM

If the feeder has a camera but the live view will not open, first check the app connection and the local network. A weak Wi-Fi signal, an account issue or a temporary app problem is more likely than a camera fault.

Check the app and network

  1. Confirm the feeder is online in the app.
  2. Make sure your phone has a stable internet connection.
  3. Move the feeder closer to the router and try the live view again.

If live view works near the router, the wireless signal is probably too weak in the original location.

Check the camera side carefully

  1. Wipe the camera lens gently with a clean, dry cloth.
  2. Make sure the lens is not covered by packaging, dust or condensation.
  3. Restart the feeder and reopen the live view.

If the picture returns after cleaning the lens, keep the viewing area free of dust and moisture.

Stop using it if needed

  1. Stop using the feeder if the camera area shows damage, overheating or moisture inside the housing.
  2. Do not open the camera section or try to dry internal parts with heat.
  3. If the issue remains unresolved, contact the retailer or store where the product was purchased.
