Why does my grill pan smell a bit burnt the first time I use it?

A slight odour during the first use can be normal on a new grill pan. It should be temporary and usually disappears after a short period of use with good ventilation.

1. Run the appliance empty at the highest setting for at least 5 minutes in a well-ventilated room.
2. Check that all packaging, stickers and protective materials have been removed.
3. Make sure no food residue or cleaning product remains on the plates or pan.

Expected result: The odour should fade after the initial warm-up.
