Usually this means the lid, cup and safety switch are not fully aligned, or the bowl is overfilled. First make sure the appliance is unplugged before checking anything around the blades.
1. Check the lid and bowl alignment
- Remove the lid and place the bowl back in its correct position.
- Fit the lid again and press it down firmly and evenly.
- Make sure the bowl is not twisted or sitting crooked.
Expected result: The lid should sit flush and the chopper should only run when everything is properly locked in place.
2. Check the fill level
- Remove some ingredients if the bowl looks full.
- Try again with a smaller amount.
Expected result: The chopper should start more easily with less food inside.
3. Check the power supply
- Confirm the plug is fully inserted into the socket.
- Try a different wall socket if available.
Expected result: The unit should receive power consistently.
When to stop: Stop immediately if you notice a burning smell, unusual noise, damaged cable or moisture near the base.
When to contact support: Contact support if the lid and bowl are aligned, the bowl is not overfilled and the chopper still does not start.
