Solar lights rely on sunlight to charge the internal battery. The more sunlight during the day the longer the light will operate in the evening / at night.
Make sure the solar light is positioned to get the maximum amount of sunlight to charge during the day. If possible avoid shaded areas.
During bad weather, the batteries of the solar light may not get enough charge, which can drastically reduce the lighting time in the evening / at night.
It is good to keep the solar panel clean to keep the power and battery charge optimal. It can also be good to turn the unit off (if possible) and charge it for a few days before turning it on again. This will charge the battery and provide a longer lighting time.
