- Move the light, if possible, to a warmer and sunnier position. The manuals for the solar products note that battery performance is affected by weather and temperature, and recommend storing products inside during severe cold.
- Make sure the panel is clean and not covered by frost, snow or wet debris. Expected result: the panel should be able to charge as daylight improves.
- Let the unit fully recharge before retesting. Expected result: the light should last longer after a proper charging cycle.
If the unit becomes wet internally, stops responding completely or shows signs of damage, stop using it. Do not warm it with direct heat, open the housing or try to replace internal components. If the issue remains unresolved, contact the retailer or store where the product was purchased.
