Why does my pet feeder bowl shift or rattle during feeding?

If the bowl moves or rattles, the feeder may be sitting unevenly, the bowl may not be seated correctly, or residue may be preventing a snug fit. This is usually simple to diagnose, but it should be corrected before regular use so food does not spill or scatter.

Check the bowl and base

1. Remove the bowl and inspect both the bowl edge and the base slot for crumbs, moisture or residue.
2. Reinsert the bowl firmly, making sure it sits level and fully home.
3. Place the feeder on a flat, stable surface and check whether the unit rocks.
4. Run a test feed and watch whether the bowl stays in position.

What the observation means

If the bowl stays steady on a flat surface once reseated, the issue was likely a simple fit problem. If it still shifts, rattles or drops out of position, stop using the product until it has been checked. A loose bowl can lead to spillage and makes feeding less reliable.
