If the bowl does not fit back together after cleaning, a part is probably still damp, fitted the wrong way round, or not seated correctly. Stop using the chopper if you need to force the parts together or if the lid no longer locks securely.
Rebuild the chopper in the correct order
- Unplug the appliance and lay out all removable parts.
- Check that every part is clean and completely dry.
- Fit the blade unit, bowl and lid exactly as intended by the design.
- Try the lid gently before adding ingredients.
If the parts now fit, the problem was likely assembly order or trapped moisture.
Look for small obstructions
- Check for food residue on the rim, inside the lid or around the blade mount.
- Remove any visible debris with a soft cloth or the supplied cleaning brush where applicable.
- Make sure no part is damaged or distorted.
- Test the lid lock again without power connected.
If the fit improves after cleaning the contact surfaces, residue was probably preventing proper assembly.
When to stop using it
- Stop using the chopper if the bowl will not seat properly, the lid feels loose, or the safety switch cannot engage.
- Do not force the parts into place.
- If the problem continues, contact the retailer or store where the product was purchased.
