How do I clean my decorative lamp without damaging it?

Clean the lamp only when it is switched off, unplugged and fully cool. Use gentle cleaning only, because water, harsh chemicals and abrasive pads can damage the finish or reach electrical parts.

1. Unplug the lamp and remove the bulb if the design allows safe removal and the bulb is cool. Expected result: The lamp is fully isolated from the power supply before cleaning begins.
2. Wipe the outside with a soft dry cloth first, then use a slightly damp cloth with a mild detergent if needed. Expected result: Dust and fingerprints should lift without scratching the surface.
