Why is my Aerofryer basket coating peeling or scratched?

If the basket coating is peeling, flaking or deeply scratched, treat it as a wear issue and stop using the affected part until you have checked it carefully. Damaged coatings can worsen with harsh cleaning or metal utensils, so it is best to switch to gentler handling immediately.

1. Inspect the basket and pan under good light for chips, flaking, peeling or sharp edges. Expected result: you should be able to see whether the damage is cosmetic or more extensive.
