What should I do if the dummy camera housing is scratched or cloudy?

Small scratches or a cloudy finish can make a dummy camera look worn, but they do not always mean the product is unsafe. First check whether the damage is only cosmetic or whether the housing is cracked, loose or letting dirt and moisture in.

1. Inspect the full housing

1. Look at the front, sides, mount and battery area in good light.
2. Check whether the surface damage is only on the outside or whether the shell is split.
