If the display is blank, very dim or difficult to read, begin with the power supply and the lighting around the appliance. A poor reading display does not always mean the appliance has failed, but it does mean you should avoid guessing the temperature or timer. If the unit is wet or damaged, stop using it.
- Check the plug and socket first. The expected result is a stable power supply and a lit display. If another appliance also fails in the same socket, the socket may be the issue.
- Wipe the display area with a dry soft cloth if there is condensation or splashes. The expected result is a clearer screen once the surface is dry. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the control area in water.
- Confirm whether the room lighting or angle is making the screen difficult to see. The product has an LCD display, so viewing angle can affect readability. The expected result is improved visibility when you look straight at the screen.
- Disconnect power briefly and reconnect it if the display has frozen. The expected result is that the screen restarts normally. If it remains blank after a reset, do not keep trying to force operation.
- If the display still does not work, or if it shows unreadable symbols, stop using the appliance and contact the retailer or store where it was purchased.
Do not continue cooking if you cannot clearly read the temperature or timer. A display problem can affect safe use, especially in a water-based appliance.
