If feeding happens earlier, later or not at all, the schedule may not have been saved correctly or the clock may not match the current time. Begin with the time and schedule checks before changing anything else.
Check the clock and schedule
- Open the schedule and confirm the feeding times are set exactly as intended.
- Check whether the current time on the feeder or in the app is correct.
- Save the schedule again, then wait for the next planned feed to confirm the behaviour.
If feeding returns to normal after correcting the time, the device clock was likely out of sync.
Check for manual feeding or app changes
- Make sure no one has triggered a manual feed by mistake.
- Confirm the schedule was not altered during setup or after a Wi-Fi reconnect.
- Review whether the feeder was unplugged or restarted, which may affect timing on some models.
If the feeder only misses a single scheduled meal, a brief connection interruption may have interrupted the command.
Stop using it if timing faults continue
- Stop using the feeder if it repeats feeds without a clear command or ignores the schedule completely.
- Do not keep resetting the unit if it starts dispensing unexpectedly.
- If the issue remains unresolved, contact the retailer or store where the product was purchased.
