Why does my heater stop after I move it or if it tips over?

If the heater stops when it is nudged, lifted or not standing exactly upright, the anti-tilt safety may be working as intended. This is a protective feature, not a fault, but the appliance should not be used if it cannot stand securely or if the stop-start behaviour continues unexpectedly.

1. Place the heater on a firm, level surface and make sure all feet or the base are in full contact with the floor. The expected result is that the heater resumes normal operation once it is upright and stable. If it does not, continue.
2. Check that the heater is not on a soft rug, uneven tile or a surface that can rock. The expected result is stable standing with no movement when lightly touched. If it still rocks or cuts out, continue.
3. Move nearby objects away so the heater cannot be bumped accidentally. The expected result is fewer interruptions and a lower risk of tip-over shutdown. If the heater still stops on a level surface, continue.
4. Do not bypass, tape down or otherwise interfere with any safety switch. If the appliance stops again while upright, stop using it. This can indicate a safety fault or a stability problem that should not be ignored.
5. If the cord is strained, the plug feels loose, or the heater has fallen, unplug it immediately and do not use it again until it has been checked. Contact the retailer or store where it was purchased if the issue remains unresolved or safe use is uncertain.
