Why does my chopper bowl move or wobble on the worktop?

If the bowl shifts while you are using the chopper, the non-slip base may not be positioned correctly, the surface may be uneven or the appliance may be overloaded. Stop using it if the unit rocks so much that you cannot keep it stable.

1. Unplug the appliance and place it on a flat, dry worktop. Check that the feet or non-slip mat are clean and free from grease.
2. Reposition the bowl or base so it sits squarely. Expected result: the appliance should stay steady when you release it.
3. Check the batch size. Heavy loads can make a compact chopper move more, especially when the blades first start turning.
4. Try again with a smaller amount of suitably cut food. If the wobble reduces, the previous load was likely too large or unevenly distributed.
5. If the bowl still moves excessively, or if any foot, mat or housing part is damaged, stop using the appliance and contact the retailer or store where the product was purchased.

For safer day-to-day use, keep the worktop dry, do not place the appliance near the edge of the counter and keep the bowl aligned before starting. The supplied manuals refer to non-slip feet or mats and recommend stable, flat placement.
