How do I clean my iron safely after use?

1. Unplug the iron and wait until the soleplate and housing are completely cool.
2. Empty any remaining water from the tank and do not leave water standing overnight.
3. Wipe the outer surfaces and soleplate with a soft damp cloth only, then dry the iron fully before storing it.
4. If your model includes a self-clean function, use it only in line with the manual and over a sink, as hot water and steam may be released.
