Battery replacement of the smoke detector

To replace the battery, remove the alarm from the mounting base by turning it counterclockwise.
Replace the battery, observing correct polarity. (Insert the plus and minus on the right side) Place the sensor back in the mounting base and rotate clockwise until the detector clicks. Test the detector. You can replace the batteries without re-running through the coupling process. Associated detectors remember their codes during replacing the batteries.
