Why is my air conditioner leaking?

When your mobile air conditioner is leaking, it is possible that you have to let the water out of the reservoir. This because your mobile air conditioner also has a dehumidification function which allows it to draw water from the warm air that it cools. This water is collected in a water reservoir within the air conditioner. When this reservoir is full, a small LED on the control panel lights up: WF.

How do empty the reservoir?

We advise you to put a bin under the outlet to collect the water. If possible you can place the airconditioner on top of something so it it easier to let the water out of the reservoir.

To do so you have to remove the black plug on the left side of the back of the airconditioner (at the bottom).

When the reservoir is empty and the water stops leaking, you can put the plugs back again and turn the airconditioner back on.
