Home states

With home states you can tell the HomeWizard Link what the current state of your home is. There are four different home states:

  • Someone Home

  • Everyone Away

  • Night mode

  • Holiday mode

What can I do with home states?

Home states are the basis for automating your home. You can tell HomeWizard Link to turn on your lights when it’s dark and the home state ‘Someone Home’ is active, or you can leave some lights on at night when you are not at home to deter burglars.

It is possible to switch between the home state ‘Someone Home’ and ‘Everyone Away’ based on your location.

To learn how to setup this functionality see the article Location aware.
