If the jar is hard to remove or refit, do not force it. A misaligned jar can make the blender unsafe or stop it from working properly. Unplug the appliance before adjusting any parts.
- Check whether the jar is being turned in the correct direction and only to the point where it normally locks or unlocks. Expected result: the jar should move smoothly once aligned correctly. If not, continue.
- Inspect the threads, locking ring or base for food residue, dried liquid or damage. Clean and dry the parts before trying again. Expected result: the parts should fit more easily after cleaning. If they still stick, continue.
- Make sure the jar is seated straight on the base and not at an angle. Expected result: the jar should engage without wobbling. If it does not, continue.
- Do not use tools, knives or excessive force to prise the jar loose. If it remains stuck, leave it unplugged and let the parts cool and dry further. Expected result: the fit should become easier, not harder.
If the jar still will not remove or refit normally, or any part looks cracked or distorted, stop using the blender and contact the retailer or store where it was purchased.
